Dr. Anjal Prakash

A graduate from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, India, Anjal Prakash, has a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Wageningen University and Research Center, The Netherlands. He has worked extensively on the issues of ground water management, gender, natural resource management and water supply and sanitation in India. Dr. Prakash worked with the policy team of Water Aid India based at New Delhi handling research and implementation projects related to Integrated Water Resources Management. He has contributed many papers in leading journals and chapters in edited books. He has authored the book "The Dark Zone: Groundwater Irrigation, Politics and Social Power in North Gujarat" that was published by Orient Longman. He is handling research and outreach portfolio as senior fellow under crossing boundaries project.

Dr. Poulomi Banerjee

Dr. Poulomi Banerjee holds a PhD on watershed management from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Prior joining to SaciWATERS she was working as a researcher in water resource and policy division (WRPM) of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi. She has been working in the field of water supply and sanitation, natural resource management, climate change, agriculture, governance and policy issues for the past seven years . She has proficiency in handling both research and implementation related projects and associated with various national forums and societies. She looks into the peri urban and the study of disappearing lakes projects as a senior Fellow.

Chirantan Kar

Chirantana Kar holds Masters Degree in Environmental Science from Banaras Hindu University and M.Tech degree in Environment and Resources from Vellore Institute of Technology. Her expertise is in Integrated Waste Management (both municipal and hazardous). She initiated the "Green village project" in Mahabalipuram which was nominated for the highest Social Impact Award in the year 2011 by BBC. She has also worked in the area of Environment and Social Imapct Assessment Studies (ESIA) and Integrated Water Resource Management. Currently, she is involved in the US Consulate project on protecting the Urban lakes of Hyderabad at SaciWATERs.

Nani Babu

Nani Babu holds a Masters Degree in Geo-Informatics from Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry. He has been working in this field from past three years. He has previously worked with APSRAC for the project - "National Wetland Inventory Assessment". He also worked in SACON as a Junior Research Fellow for the project - "IGBP-LULC Dynamics and Impact of Human Dimensions in Indian River Basins". He was involved in Empirical Modelling for the future scenario in the IGBP-Project with NRSC (ISRO) team, Hyderabad. He is presently working as a Research Officer, GIS for the Peri-Urban Water Security Project.

Mohd Abdul Fahad

Fahad has done his diploma in Animation and Webdesign and has two years of experience in the field at Hyderabad. He has aslo undergone production training in Maya modelling and lighting. At SaciWATERs he is responsible for designing of publications, reports, newsletters and managing the websites.
