Project Jurisdiction Area

The larger area will be HMDA. Within which blocks, panchayats/municipalities/Nagar panchayats will be selected based on following criteria.

• Periurban in nature
• Semi-critical to critical in terms of groundwater level and development
• Presence of informal water market
• Outside the ambit of formal water supply system
