Mr. Byjesh Kattarkandi
Byjesh Kattarkandi, prior to joining Saciwaters, worked as research consultant at International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Hyderabad. He holds masters in agriculture with a specialization in farm and rural environment from Wageningen University, The Netherlands and bachelor in agriculture from Kerala Agricultural University, Kerala. He possess more than seven years of research experience in climate change impacts on crops and rural livelihood, risks and vulnerability and on identifying strategies towards resilience at different levels of its manifestation. He posses field research experience in semi-arid tropics of India and East Africa (Tanzania and Uganda). His research interest includes Q2 (qualitative and quantitative) understanding of issues related to farming and rural livelihood.
